About the Event

At the beginning of 2018, The Washington Post declared that the #MeToo era is making dating more confusing. According to a survey by MTV, 40 per cent of young men say the movement has changed the way they act in romantic relationships. A growing number of men are re-considering if speaking to a woman romantically is a good idea at all, putting the responsibility of “making the first move” onto women.

The culture around Sex, Dating & Relationships is shifting, bringing the prevalence of misconduct into the public eye, and with it, a higher standard of behaviour.

The nuances of dating and relationships in a post #MeToo world can seem new and intimidating, but in the 2nd instalment of MAGIC’s Workshop series, we’re going to discuss casual and long term dating, sex, consent, and boundaries to put an end to confusion.

This event is designed to be relevant whether you are 20 or 60, married, single, monogamous, poly or anything in between and is LGBTQI inclusive.
